Chugchilán ist ein kleines Andendorf vier Busstunden von Latacunga entfernt. Es ist eines der aermsten Doerfer der Provinz Cotopaxi und sucht daher Unterstuetzung. José Luis Garzón, Praesident des Familienrates der Schule, will dem Dorf neue Perspektiven geben. Er sucht fuer die Schulen des Dorfes Lehrpersonen fuer die Faecher Englisch und/oder Informatik (Grundlagen der Computeranwendung). Vorgesehen ist Unterricht fuer Kinder und Erwachsene.

Gewuenscht ist erste Unterrichtserfahrung und gute fachliche Grundlagenkenntnisse. Die Spanischkenntnisse koennen vor Ort erweitert werden. Die Dauer des Einsatzes betraegt mindestens 3 Monate, wobei ein laengerer Einsatz begruesst wird.

Fuer Unterkunft und Verpflegung ist gesorgt und die Lehrpersonen werden von der Familie Garzón herzlich aufgenommen. Ein Lohn kann nicht bezahlt werden. Die Stelle eignet sich fuer engagierte Personen, die das Landleben und einen einfachen Lebensstil schaetzen sowie Freude an der Natur haben.

Volunteer as Teacher (English and/or IT basics) in Chugchilán, Ecuador

Chugchilán is a tiny village in the Andes about four hours by bus from Latacunga. It is one of the poorest villages in the Cotopaxi District and is seeking for support. José Luis Garzón, president of the parent’s board of the school, is striving to give new perspectives to the village. He is looking for teachers for the subjects English and/or IT basics for the schools of the village. Scheduled are classes for children and adults.

Required are experiences in teaching and good basic knowledge of the subjects. Spanish skills can be improved during the stay. The assignment lasts for a minimum of three months but longer stays are preferred.

Food and accommodation are provided and the teachers are warmly taken care of by the family Garzón. There cannot be paid any salary. The assignment is meant for committed people who like the country side including a simple life style and who love nature.

Voluntariad como Profesor (Inglés y/o Computación básica) en Chugchilán, Ecuador

Chugchilán es un pueblo pequeño en los Andes y está a cuatro horas en autobús de Latacunga. Es uno de los pueblos más pobres de la provincia Cotopaxi y por eso está buscando ayuda. José Luis Garzón, presidente de los padres de familia de la escuela, quiere dar nuevas perspectivas al pueblo. Está buscando profesores de inglés y/o computación básica para las escuelas del pueblo. Tiene previsto clases para niños y adultos.

Se requiere algo de experiencia en enseñar y buen conocimiento del fundamento de la asignatura. Es posible mejorar el español durante la estancia. La duración minima del voluntariad es de 3 meses, sin embargo una estancia más larga sería apreciada.

Se dará hospedaje y alimentación y los profesores serán acogidos cordialmente por la familia Garzón. Un sueldo no será pagado. El puesto es para personas activas que aman la naturaleza, la vida en el campo y un estilo de vida sencillo.
