Katharina, 27 years old, from Berlin is taking on the challenge from January 2009 to teach English to children, teachers and adults of Chugchilan. We are very happy to have found in her a competent, dedicated and courageous person to support the village on it’s way into the future. We thank Katharina already today for her engagement and we wish her all the best for her work in Chugchilan and many positive experiences!
We support Chugchilan also in the future and we will continue Katharina’s work beyond her return. Therefore, we found the association „Verein Pasos al Sur“ which is dedicated to assign Volunteers to Chugchilan and to support their work financially. People who would like to contribute to or/and financially support the association are welcome. Please let us know!
Are you interested in a Voluntary assignment? Then please let us know as well! Actually we are looking for IT-teachers (Computer basics) which will train the teachers of Chugchilan on how to use computers. Shortstays from about 1 month are possible.
For the beginning of the new semester in September 2009 we are looking for English and IT teachers which can take further Katharina’s work. The duration of the stay is at least 3 month whereas longer stays are prefered.
